Description:

If you think you have seen this stunning Classic Mustang Restomod before, you are probably right. This Mustang received a major feature story in the May 2009 edition of Modified Mustangs & Fords magazine. The step-by-step build of this Mustang was also featured on our website for most of 2008 while we were building the Mustang. K.A.R. built this Mustang for a Texas Mustang enthusiast who wanted an array of performance, creature comfort, and cosmetic upgrades. As you will see from this listing, this was an expensive car to build and is truly one-of-a-kind in many respects. We will list the upgrades installed on this Mustang. I should point out that this car was a rust-free California Black Plate car when the project was started.

It is easy to see that this Mustang received a bumper-to-bumper rebuild with the finest components and assemblies available. We doubt you will find another 1966 Mustang with an AODE transmission and column mounted paddle shifter. Paddle shifters are commonly found on high-end European sports cars. This is one fine driving machine. Four-corner adjustable suspension with tubular control arms and dampening adjustments offers maximum suspension turning capability. This is a comfortable car with added creature comforts such as a tilt steering column, power windows, air conditioning, and iPod hook-up adding to your driving pleasure. You will love the way this Mustang sits not to mention how it handles. It has a great stance. The in-board lights add to its muscle car era appearance. We have priced out many Restomod builds for customers. We have built a number of high-end Restomod Mustangs. From this experience we can safely say that an investment in excess of $90,000 and up to two years would be required to duplicate this car today. This would include the rust-free donor car. We are offering this Restomod well below that cost with no waiting time involved. It is ready for a new owner.
