Description: This is a very pretty Classic Mustang convertible. The last owner actually owned this Mustang since 1991. He fully restored the car in 2002. Since May 2002 this Mustang was driven and enjoyed. It performed well mechanically over the years since the restoration. The last owner stated that he drove the car from Ohio to North Carolina and back with no issues. He drove it occasionally to other Mustang shows and cruise-ins. The vintage burgundy paint is in beautiful condition. The paint carries a very high gloss with no significant deficiencies. The paint work in 2002 was obviously exceptionally well done with exceptional preparation work. Panning down the sides of the car reveals it to be very straight with no waves. Exterior chrome and moldings are all in very nice condition. It is quite obvious that this Mustang has been garaged and well cared for. The white power top is very nice with no cracks, nicks, or tears. The top works as designed. The white standard interior has no rips, tears, or cracks. Although the interior presents well, it was installed in 2002 and shows minor uniform color aging. Since this Mustang was restored to be driven the owner installed the popular pre-molded kick panel speakers. He also installed circular speakers in the rear quarter trim panels. These speakers work well with the AM/FM cassette radio fitted into the original factory radio opening. There has been no dash alteration. The engine compartment is clean and well maintained. K.A.R. does intend to spend a day or two simply freshening up the engine compartment area. The engine starts easily, makes no unusual noises, and does not smoke. The engine seems to be in sound mechancial condition. The underside of this Mustang is structurally solid and reasonably clean. As previously stated, this Mustang was driven and enjoyed. The underside reflects normal road use dust. We found no underside issues with this Mustang. The trunk area is clean and well maintained. A serviceable spare tire, jack and lug wrench are in place. Overall, this is a very ncie Classic Mustang convertible.
