Another exclusive turn-key conversion kit from K.A.R. Auto Group. This is a complete kit to include not only all the required parts but also all the unique mounting hardware. Every item in this kit is new with the power steering pump being the only exception. The pump is a rebuilt original unit as new pumps are not available. You will reuse your crank pulley fastener and center link fasteners. All other hardware unique to power steering is included. This is truly a turn-key kit. When converting to power steering, it is not essential to replace your manual steering gear box if it is in sound working condition. You should, however, be aware that the manual steering gear box is a 19:1 ratio while a power steering gear box is a 16:1 quick ratio. Should you wish to upgrade to a new quick ratio power steering gear box we have listed two conversion kits that include a new quick ratio 16:1 steering gear box.
