MCA GRAND NATIONAL SHOW
As mentioned in the last e-newsletter, K.A.R. decided to display at the Mustang Club of America's (MCA) Grand National Show in Birmingham, Alabama over the Labor Day weekend. Not only was this the 2006 Grand National Show, it was also the show to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mustang Club of America; and what a show it was! The venue, Barber Motorsport Park, is without a doubt one of the finest motorsport facilities in the U.S. MCA chose the perfect venue.

1,100 Mustangs were registered for the show. Friday and Saturday brought over 12,000 paid Mustang enthusiasts to this show. A show of this magnitude is a logistical challenge for professional organizers and to think this absolutely fabulous event was organized and managed by MCA and Magic City Mustang Club of Birmingham volunteers. Volunteers with a profound love for America's pony car spent literally thousands of hours planning, implementing, and managing this event. Our hats are off to the tireless volunteers who made this tribute to the MCA and the Mustang such a huge success.

We enjoyed meeting and visiting with hundreds of Mustang enthusiasts from all over the U.S. and several foreign countries. Our large tent located on manufacturer's midway was very well attended. We displayed a concours quality GT convertible, our current STE Classic Fastback, and a primered and stripped 1968 fastback. We also displayed an array of parts and assemblies to demonstrate the wide array of products available to restore or upgrade your classic Mustang. Thanks to all of you who stopped by to talk Mustangs.

STE CLASSIC AND MUSTANG MONTHLY MAGAZINE
We were honored to have our latest STE Classic Mustang selected for a major feature and cover picture by Mustang Monthly magazine. The Birmingham, Alabama Barber Motorsport Park was the venue for the photo shoot. The two media people that I admire and respect the most in the Mustang arena are Donald Farr, editor of Mustang Monthly magazine, and Jerry Heasley, a very successful free-lance writer and, I believe, the finest automotive photographer around today. If you are an avid Mustang hobbyist, you no doubt have seen their names attached to many articles, pictures, and Mustang books. In our business we refer daily to the Mustang Recognition Guide. Donald and Jerry are two of the authors on this popular book. To think that these two Mustang literary icons are collaborating on a major feature story on the K.A.R. STE Classic Fastback is an honor we are most proud of. We have sold Mustangs to Ford Motor Company, we have a classic Mustang in the Hemmings Museum, and we have been featured in several magazines. None of these tops a Farr/Heasley feature article. Please watch for the December 2006 issue of Mustang Monthly with the K.A.R. STE Classic on the cover. If your travels bring you near to Columbus, Ohio, please stop by and see the STE Classic for yourself.

ALL FORD SWAP MEET -- COLUMBUS, OHIO
The largest all Ford indoor swap meets are located in Columbus, Ohio, our hometown. The next swap meet is Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. If you are planning to attend this popular event, please stop by the K.A.R. facilities and say hello. K.A.R. is located a short 1/2 mile from the Ohio Expo Center, where the swap meet is located. We extend our hours to 6:00pm on swap meet Saturday so do stop by.

RESTOMOD CATALOG
If you have not ordered your copy of the all new K.A.R. Restomod catalog, there is still a good supply available, and they are free. We are currently mailing out catalogs that were ordered over the last 30 days. You can still order a catalog on line or by phone. The catalog is in full color with hundreds of parts pictures inside. We would love to send one to you.
