We have been developing this console idea for close to a year. A number of prototypes have been tested. Finally the K.A.R.-SOLE, as we have named it, is ready for those of you who drive and enjoy 1965 and 1966 Mustangs. K.A.R.-SOLES for 1967 and 1968 Mustangs are under development and will be available soon. Initially the 1965 and 1966 K.A.R.-SOLES will be available for any body style Mustang that is not equipped with factory air conditioning. K.A.R.-SOLES for air-conditioned 1965 and 1966 Mustangs will follow.

K.A.R.-SOLE features:

Every K.A.R-SOLE is handmade and custom upholstered. K.A.R.-SOLES are not mass produced plastic or fiberglass composites. They have a solid wood frame and are screwed together for strength. They are then custom upholstered in the very same vinyl as the seat upholstery.

The K.A.R.-SOLE’S modular design allows you to change its configuration after installation.
- Go from no gauge front panel to a 2-gauge panel
- Go from no floor E-brake to a floor E-brake panel
- Go from 2-cup holders to 4-cup holders
- Change out center panels to an accent effect (two tone)
- Add an optional removable ashtray in place of a cup holder

The K.A.R.-SOLE mounts in a semi-permanent fashion very similar to an original plastic console. Six screws and a correct size drill bit, which are provided, keep it firmly affixed to the floor. A video tape showing installation from start to finish
